Ride Collapses At Dade County Youth Fair

We represented a young man who suffered multiple serious injuries when a bolt came undone and a Gravitron ride collapsed in the midst of operation. Pieces of the dangerous fair ride flew through the air and our client injured his head, back, shoulder and arms. We filed a lawsuit against the youth fair and against the ride manufacturer based on theories of negligent manufacture and negligent maintenance. We reached a confidential pretrial settlement and have maintained close contact with our client and his family over the years.

Mother of Two Injured At Water Park

Our client was severely injured when she was a guest at a local water park. The woman was at a water park when a lifeguard dumped a large column of water from a four-story platform onto our client's head. The lifeguard gave no advance warning, and our client was caught unprepared. She suffered a serious neck injury, which continues to negatively impact her life at home and at work. We were pleased to reach a settlement after the first day of trial.

Woman injured On A Bumper Car Track At An Amusement Park

Our firm represented a woman in her 40's who was injured on a bumper car track at an amusement park. Prior to the cars being energized, our client had gotten permission from the ride operator to walk on the track to take a quick photograph of a family member. As she was exiting the track, the bumper track operator energized the bumper cars, and one car went forward causing a crush injury to our client's foot. This case successfully resolved prior to litigation.
