Mr. Stone was born in Coral Gables, Miami–Dade County, Florida, practicing law in Florida since 1986. Mr. Stone focuses his practice in personal injury, wrongful death and insurance law, with extensive experience in professional malpractice cases, aviation matters and product liability litigation. The Martindale–Hubbell directory of lawyers made Mr. Stone one of the youngest attorneys to ever receive the top ranked "AV" rating in 1996.

In May 1986, he earned a Juris Doctorate Degree from Florida State University School of Law, Tallahassee, Florida. Mr. Stone had been awarded a Bachelor of Science Degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Florida State University in 1982. He is a member in good standing of The Florida Bar. He is also a member of The Dade County Bar Association, The American Bar Association, The Association of Trial Lawyers of America and The Academy of Florida Trial Lawyers, He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa and is admitted to practice before the Middle District of Florida and the United States District Courts for the Southern District of Florida.
