Both of the firm's founding members, Stewart G. Greenberg and Mark D. Stone, received an AV Preeminent Peer Review Rating* through Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating. These peer review ratings are developed via anonymous surveys facilitated by Martindale-Hubbell in which attorneys complete questionnaires on their peers' legal ability and ethics. Martindale calculates the results and assigns a rating of AV Preeminent or BV Distinguished, with AV being the highest. Mr. Greenberg received his AV Rating in 1989, the first year he was eligible for the highest rating. Mr. Stone received his AV Rating in 1996, the first year he was eligible for the highest rating. Mr. Stone was also one of the youngest attorneys to ever receive the honor.
